RXB
2021 - Serious Games Interactive

Overview
RXB is an asymmetrical and deterministic 1v1 multiplayer simulation designed to teach cybersecurity strategy. In it, players face off in a dynamic scenario—one plays red (attacker) and the other blue (defender)—navigating actions and outcomes in real time. It’s serious, it’s tactical, and it’s secretly fun to orchestrate digital daring-do in a training environment.
What I did
-
Dove into cyber strategy: Learned the ropes of cybersecurity to inform gameplay design.
-
Built asymmetrical systems: Created a rich database of actions, responses, and outcomes for vivid red/blue gameplay dynamics.
-
Owned all features: Designed—and in some cases directed—network assets, abilities, and progression layers from the ground up.
-
Led workshops: Ran design sessions that kept features functional and delightful.
-
Prototyped in Unity: Set up levels, action categories, costs, main menus, load screens, and even a custom sound system (sometimes subtly spooky).
-
Managed design and delivery: Authored the documentation, prioritized tasks, maintained the backlog, and coordinated deliverables.
