Description
Nature Heroes is a game that helps the youth in Barbados to become more aware of climate change. The game is made for and in collaboration with UNDP and UNICEF.
In Nature Heroes players take care of a small digital island in a modern tamagotchi type of game. Players are guided by Hum the hummingbird and needs spend a resource called "Human Money" to do actions. To earn "Human Money" players have to go to real life locations to either check-in at quest locations or participate in real life event where they can scan QR codes giving them "Human Money" for their efforts.
