K10 exam simulations
2020 - Serious Games Interactive

Overview
Six interactive science exam simulations developed in collaboration with the Danish Ministry of Education—spanning geography, chemistry, physics, and biology. Students experiment with radiation in soda factories, test dams under rainfall, or uncover how plants shift gases—all aimed at turning standard testing into proactive problem-solving (with a hint of joyful exploration)
What I did
-
Co-designed the content with science teachers, running workshops to answer: “What should students explore—even if it breaks the textbook?”
-
Consulted deeply with educators to push the simulations toward educational creativity—not just assessment.
-
Wireframed and prototyped intuitive UI/UX flows for each simulation—prioritizing clarity and accessibility.
-
Directed the design, ensuring each subject’s interaction felt cohesive yet delightfully unique.
-
Designed with accessibility in mind, including considerations for color blindness and reading impairment.
-
Built one full simulation on my own from the ground up in Construct 3—because sometimes you’ve gotta do it yourself.
-
Owned the backlog, coordinated tasks, and ran milestone sprints across multiple subject teams—like herding cats, but organized.
-
Handled QA: playtested, poked around for bugs, and made sure learning stayed smooth.

Experiment with the use of radiation in a soda filling facility - radiating!

Experiment with different weather conditions and a damn to see how it effects flooding - run!

Discover how plants effect gases in a closed environment - plants are good for us.
